What is design & build?
Design and build means one contractor holds responsibility for both designing your space and constructing it, under a single contract — rather than an architect and a separate contractor working across a gap that someone has to manage. Davies Group UAE has operated this way since 1997: our own design office produces the concept and technical drawings, our Ras Al Khor workshop manufactures the joinery, and our own site team installs it. No handoffs, no subcontracted fit-out, one team accountable from first sketch to final handover.
This is the same single-point-of-responsibility model behind every project we deliver in Dubai — including the retail and F&B shopfits that make up the bulk of our portfolio.
